Funding Crash Course

Financial Crash Course ~ If you are a Sonoma Business looking for funding or investment, then this four week accelerator is for you!
Join the Sonoma SBDC’s Master Instructor, Paul Bozzo, for a four week intensive training that prepares you for either bank or investor lending.

Week One:
~ You will learn about different types of funding: Angel, Micro Loans and SBA Conventional Loans
~ Introduction to the required financial templates
~ Introduction to the Sonoma SBDC Branded 24 month Financial Projection template
Week Two:
~ Introduction to Overhead Expenses and Start Up Budget
Week Three:
~ Introduction to Personal Financial Statements and Credit Score/Credit Repair
Week Four:
~ loans
~And our Lender Panel Discussion where you will have the opportunity to ask questions to lenders, Micro-lenders and Angel Investors

*Each week includes a working session where participants share their work and learn from the power of the group
*Learn insider tips from lenders and angel investors
*Learn to talk about your idea and your financials intelligently and with skill and confidence!
*Selected participants will have an opportunity to practice their financial pitch in front of a live panel of funders

*To be considered:
You have to be a Sonoma SBDC client
You have to be a Sonoma Business (Start up or Expanding)
You have to be a graduate of the Sonoma PitchFest or have a completed pitch deck that has been submitted for approval
You have to have a computer or laptop and basic understanding of technology including zoom, google docs, excel
